About the Game:
The premier showcase event at the 14U level in all of youth baseball, is set for the Chickasaw Brickyard Stadium in Oklahoma City, OK. This game is in it's fifth straight year. Activities surrounding the 5th annual PG 14U Select Baseball Festival will take place Sept. 4 - Sept. 6, over the Labor Day Weekend.
The game itself will be played on Saturday, Sept. 5 at Bricktown and will be televised live and live-streamed on Perfectgame.tv. Many of the specific details of the four-day schedule are still being finalized.
Forty-four of the top age-eligible 14U prospects from across North America will be invited to attend this year’s Festival, and most will come from the national high school class of 2023. The players are selected based on their performances at PG 14U events held throughout the summer. Those can include attendance at one of PG 14U regional showcases from where they can earn an invitation to the 2020 PG 14U National Showcase.
Once selected, the young players will enjoy a baseball experience unlike any other they have had up to this point in their careers.
Oklahoma City Families Welcome:
Free Game Tickets
Beginning in 2018, PG extended free tickets to all local families for admission to the game. We will continue that tradition in 2020 and hope to see the stands full of Oklahoma City families. Great day at the park, watching the best of 14U players, while raising money for the beautiful children of the OK Kids Korral.
OK Kids Korral
The mission ofis to encourage the health and happiness of pediatric cancer patients and to support OK Kids Korral.
has been helping children with cancer since 2006 and has streamlined its efforts around no-cost housing for children with cancer. In 2014, the foundation opened OK Kids Korral,
There is no greater gift than keeping families strong and together during a difficult time. If we can alleviate stress on a family, encourage a brother or sister and comfort a sick child, then we will make a difference in the fight against cancer.
Each player will have their own fundraising page in which they can raise money. Players will also have the opportunity to interact with the children under treatment at The Korral during their weekend activities.
The players and their families are also involved in fund-raising efforts for GHC, bringing in much-needed additional funding that complements the event proceeds. Last year’s participants raised in excess of $47,375.00 which brought the three-year total to more than $128,000.
