THE PERFECT GAME ALL-AMERICAN CLASSIC
Welcome to Our 2020 All-Americans:
Jerry Ford, President of Perfect Game announced that the 2020 Perfect Game All-American Classic will take place on Friday, September 4th in Oklahoma City, OK. This is the 18th annual edition of the country’s premier high school baseball All-Star Game and the 1st year in Oklahoma City. Covid required a location change from San Diego.
The rosters are comprised of the 55 best high school seniors from across the nation. The players are identified and selected through a series of Perfect Game events. Players that attend regional showcases in the spring may be invited to participate in the National Showcase–a collection of the top 300 players–held in mid-June in Hoover Alabama. From there most of the final selections for the Classic are made.
Far more than just a game, the event provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the players selected. While in Oklahoma City, the players will participate in a series of baseball related activities in addition to a visit to The OK Kids Korral. This beautiful facility was built by the Toby Keith Foundation as a safe haven for pediatric patients and families battling cancer.
The Perfect Game Cares Foundation & The Toby Keith Foundation's OK Kids Korral
Proceeds of the Perfect Game All-American Classic go to support pediatric cancer
research and treatment, specifically to the event’s beneficiary,
The Ok Kids Korral and for programming and support of America's most under served children.
Who finished first in 2019? Drew Bowser who raised an all-time record $15,000!!!
Who will win the top two prizes in 2020?
In the weeks leading up to the game, every player in the Classic will have the opportunity to conduct an online fundraising contest to raise funds for the Hospital. Since the inception of the Classic, more than $1,000,000 has been raised with the bulk of it going to the Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Rady Children’s Hospital since the game moved to San Diego. This year proceeds will benefit the The Perfect Game Cares I Rise Campaign and The OK Kids Korral.
Your time visiting these beautiful children will be something you take with you for years to come. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of these kids. Every dollar we raise gets us that much closer to changing the narrative for these families.
We have already set up your fundraising pages. They will launch July 18th.
