Ben Ford, Perfect Game Vice President of National Development, is proud to announce

The 2019 14u and 13U Baseball Select Festivals

"One of our main goals at Perfect Game is to grow the game of baseball at all levels, but more importantly, to give back and help children," says Ben. We are very excited to once again feature our 14u Select Festival and to announce the addition of our new 13u Select Festival this year."

The 14u Select Baseball Festival:

The premier showcase event at the 14u level in all of youth baseball, is set to return to JETBLUE Park in Fort Myers, Fla., for a fourth straight year in 2019. Activities surrounding the 4th annual PG 14u Select Baseball Festival will take place Aug. 29 - Sept. 1, over the Labor Day Weekend.

The game itself will be played on Sunday, Sept. 1 at JETBLUE Park – the spring training home of the Boston Red Sox – and will be televised live and live-streamed on Many of the specific details of the four-day schedule are still being finalized.

Forty-four of the top age-eligible 14u prospects from across North America will be invited to attend this year’s Festival, and most will come from the national high school class of 2023. The players are selected based on their performances at PG 14u events held throughout the summer. Those can include attendance at one of PG 14u regional showcases from where they can earn an invitation to the 2019 PG 14u National Showcase, scheduled for Aug. 2-4 at JETBLUE Park.

Once selected, the young players will enjoy a baseball experience unlike any other they have had up to this point in their careers. They will be housed at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs overlooking the Gulf of Mexico during their four-day stay and will be able to enjoy a lot of the unique experiences Southwest Florida has to offer.

The 14u Players will once again visit with the children of Golisano Children's Hospital of SW Florida and will raise critical funds leading up to the event to help support these wonderful children.

The 13u Select Baseball Festival:

Continuing to expand the efforts of leading the amateur baseball industry, Perfect Game is excited to reveal the additon of a 13u version of the Select Festival to the calendar, scheduled to be held August 23-25 at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.

The game time is set for 1p.m. and will be televised nationally that night on CBS Sports. Leading the teams will be Former MLB Second Baseman and World Series Champion Homer Bush and former MLB Second Baseman and All-Star Junior Spivey.

"It is exciting to see the top up and coming talent across the country come together at PG events." says Flash. "These event are where it all begins."

"After seeing the results in the 14u Festival, it just made sense to invest in creating the same type of experience for the most talented 13 year old players," said Jerry Ford, Perfect Game President and Founder. "So this year we will be having a nationally televised event for the 13 year old players for the first time. People are always surprised when they see how talented these outstanding young players are. It is a real eye opener. The most rewarding part of these events is raising money for less fortunate kids."

Like the older installments of the All-American Games, the players in the 13U Festival will experience a weekend that is about much more that baseball. While the game itself will be a focal point, so will the players' visit and experience with the children at Toby Keith's OK Kids Korral which provides a loving environment for Pediatric Cancer Patients and their families while they undergo cancer treatments in the Oklahoma Area Children's Hospitals. The players will help raise very important funds for these families leading up to the event.

"The Perfect Game Cares Foundation, a 501c3 public charity, is proud to partner with our 14u and 13u Select Festival players to raise important funds for the children and families at Golisano Children's Hospital of SW Florida and The Children's Hospital at OU Medicine," said Jennifer Ford, Executive DIrector of Perfect Game Cares. "Together we are one step closer to changing the narrative for children fighting cancer."
