About Us:

Much of what has been accomplished with Perfect Game started with nothing more than an idea.

The Perfect Game network began in 1993 with a vision from former scout and college coach Jerry Ford. That vision was simple: "To give young players the best opportunity for success, to help scouts and recruiters see and evaluate players, and to promote the game of baseball at all levels." This was the dream.

Since its inception, Perfect Game has gone on to become the industry leader in promoting the game of baseball and its amateur players.

In 2003 the PG Foundation, Inc. was formed as a 501(c)3 public charity. Jerry decided that through the success of Perfect Game existed great opportunity to use the platform to give back. Throughout the years, PG Foundation, Inc. has helped raise over $3 million for Pediatric Cancer for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Rady Children's Hospital, Golisano Children's Hospital as well as to the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center, the Boys and Girls club among others.

Beginning in 2018, a milestone shift occurred when the Foundation expanded its footprint to become The Perfect Game Cares Foundation, Inc.

Perfect Game Cares will continue to support and expand the amazing initiatives we have historically supported. We are excited to announce that 2020 will bring our largest initiative to date. Supporting, empowering and inspiring America's underserved children in our most impoverished neighborhoods in athletics, education and mentorship.

Rise out of illness. Rise Out of Poverty. Rise to a brighter future.

"Our goal is to help children understand there is a path, no matter how difficult it may seem. To provide the path to something they may know nothing about. We want to work with other organizations and people that truly care about our many at-risk children. We are a baseball business, and we utilize that, but PG Cares is about helping and inspiring children, girls and boys, to realize there is hope for a bright future. Those results will be our greatest achievement." Jerry Ford
